Welcome to Andrews Chapel!

Grow Love. Build Community. Share Joy.

We believe every person is a beloved child of God. We rejoice in the Lord and seek to live in harmony with all people. Come worship with us – we would love to have you as a part of our Church family.

Andrews Chapel UMC has a long history in the area. We have served the local community back when there were farms and farming families. Many of our long time members have been here since childhood. As the community has changed, we also have changed as a congregation welcoming everyone who comes through our doors. We are a small but growing church family, and that excites us. Why choose our congregation? We love worshiping God, and our music ministry is awesome. In our congregation, you will be missed if you miss a Sunday or two, and someone will lovingly call you to find out how you’re doing. Your contributions of service, participation and leadership will be noticed and appreciated. Children and youth are encouraged to be actively involved in worship and ministry as readers, acolytes, ushers, and in missions. You will have opportunity to serve. No, I should have said, you will have opportunities to serve and make a difference. All this in a congregation right in the heart of a growing community! I could go on, but we would love to have you join us for worship or some other event to experience the grace of God through the people of ACUMC.

Letter from the Pastor

Hello, friends.
We hope you will join us for worship this Sunday.

We all are hearing about the increased numbers of COVID cases in both Wake County and Durham County.  Please be mindful of others as we make our way through this wave of COVID, and if you are not feeling well, we encourage you to remain home and watch our service online (the link is below) and join us again when you are feeling better.

For worship, we offer in-person worship and virtual worship using Facebook Live.
Our Facebook Live link for worship is:
Masks are optional for anyone who wants to wear them.  We understand those who are ready to put down the masks and those who feel more comfortable with them (or need them), and together, we will be the body of Christ, for that is our calling as a church community.  And that is what we are best at here at Andrews Chapel!  We grow love, build community, and share joy!
God bless you all,
Rev. Kathy
